I had my car serviced on this past Saturday. Following my service, I went home. A few hours later, I went to leave and, in the sunlight, noticed a scratch on my driver side rear door that had not been there previously. When servicing my vehicle, it had been washed. I heard them ask other guests if they wanted a car wash; nobody ever asked me. No big deal—so long as you treat my vehicle well. I called before closing hours to try and communicate my concern. I was told nobody in service would be available and I would get a callback. On Monday, I missed a call from the dealership while in a meeting. They left no voicemail. I called about 20 minutes later, and spent an additional 15 minutes with holds and automated menus before getting to speak to a service team member. I told the gentleman how I had noticed a new scratch in my vehicle following service. I also shared that I had found my antenna laying in my car seat. He was quick to defend they remove antennas as a safety precaution. I acknowledged that, but said it should have been put back. He then said he would need to review camera footage regarding the scratch. Overall, he was super dismissive and didn’t really convey any apologies for my experience. It’s been 3.5 days and I’ve never heard anything from the dealership. I offered to and did send pictures to the team member. I contacted the dealership as soon as I identified the problem and also followed up when I missed their call. They didn’t even leave a message when contacting me and then ghosted me after speaking with me. I find this very unprofessional. I only booked my service here because they could get me in sooner. I now know why. I will wait for my dealership next time. Completely unacceptable service.

I have had this vehicle serviced at 3 different dealers. This is the only dealer that does not provide a full summary of the service visit. No idea if fluids were checked, tire wear, etc. I just find is strange this seems to be the only place that does not provide. Usually with a tire rotation at other places the tire pressures and balance are checked. I cannot say if balance was checked, but I know that tire pressure was not. The service manual calls for 32psi in the front and 36 in the rear. That was how I brought in the truck. When leaving, there was 36 in the front and 32 in the rear. That confirms they rotated the tires, but did not check the pressures. What is an electronic document filing fee? First time I have seen that new junk charge. Ridiculous.

They had the car longer than scheduled, then when I told them that the air was not working, the lady talked down to me and told me that I did not know how to use my air conditioner. Then as I was driving home the check engine light came back on Took it back and instead they cleared the code and sent me out. The next day the light was back on. I took it took another Chevy dealership to get hooked to the computer and the code was for the turbo which was just replaced by your service department. When I call rod Hatfield service back I was told I was free to take it and have it serviced anywhere. I'm sure I am since I just paid your company money to fix it.

I did not have an appointment. I was 4.5 hours from home towing an enclosed trailer when my truck started giving me issues. I googled the closest dealership and ended up at Rod Hatfield Chevrolet. From the moment I entered the service department, I was greeted asked how they could help. I explained I didn't have an appointment and was passing through Lexington. The service writer (Josh, I think) said not a problem. I went over what the issues I was having, and he said they could not guarantee a same day turn around, but he would see what could be done. He found a place for me to unhook my trailer and took the truck into service. I was surprised being close to lunch that it went in so fast. The tech did a diagnosis and did a relearn on the sensors that were malfunctioning. I noticed my truck was back out in the lot less than an hour. From the time that I arrived too the time I was leaving for home was less than two hours. I couldn't have asked for better service. The entire service team was helpful and kind. I wasn't expecting to be able to get in and right out. I truly appreciate all that were involved. I would definitely suggest Rod Hatfield Chevrolet to anyone needing service or to purchase a vehicle.

I made an appointment to have breaks done at 11:00am. Did not get notified of issues for 35-40 minutes. It took about 2 1/2 hours to complete what I was told was a 40 minute to an hour job. Had filters replace too. Just felt that since I made an appointment that work should have been a little faster. I never had to wait this long (for the amount of work) before.

I brought my car in to have a headlight calibrated. After looking at the light I was told the light was the wrong light. I then got a call that the technician made a mistake and it was the right light. The last time I had my car in for service they changed the brake fluid in my car. They did not tighten something and I lost all of my brake fluid. I went to a local mechanic and he fixed it. Too many mistakes. I cannot not trust my car with you anymore.

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. My car was in your service department for 33 days for a convertible top wiring harness issue. The communication was abhorrent with days and one time a full week going by without being contacted or having any of my calls returned. The service team demonstrated zero urgency, no problem solving skills and a complete lack of consideration. Adding to the issue is the warranty approval process and a complete lack of understanding and or streamlined processes to make that approval happen in a timely manner. The warranty provider is almost as incompetent as the service department. Adding insult to injury - on the day I went to get my car the individual responsible for my car couldn’t even muster a hello or sorry for all frustration, nothing. He looked at me and said “ go to the other said and she will take care of you, “ which really meant go pay her and you can get your car. I picked up my filthy car covered in shop dust and that ended this nightmare. If the service department communicated as urgently as the Hatfield dealership reaches out for feedback, then maybe we wouldn’t have had such significant issues. I’ve received more calls for dealer feedback in two days then calls from the service department in 33 days. I will go out of my way to tell people how terrible Ron Hatfields service department is.

Chris, the service representative was great. I was a bit confused however, by the diagnostic test that is required prior to performing any repairs. I assume it's required for liability reasons. HIstorically that (initial diagnostic) fee has been waived or applied toward the repair work if it was performend. That is apparently no longer the case and the $280.00 (approximate) fee is now just another line item. My understanding is that this expensive diagnostic test was intended to identify any issues that may require attention. I was told that the oil pressure switch was faulty following the completion of the diagnostic test. That part was replaced. During the subsequent test drive, I was informed that the oil pressure was still dropping to zero when the vehicle stopped moving (which is why I took it in for service to begin with). I was also told that my oil pump was going 'bad'. I do not understand how the diagnostic test missed this??? Isn't that literally why the testing is required? It seems like the test did not provide the information it was supposed to but I still had to pay for it.

I had the truck diagnosed for free at O'reillys it was the same thing. And I knew the price of the part. That said, I went to you for the repair. I was charged that 267.00 for diagnoses, the 350.00 for part as well as all your other environmental fees etc, etc.... I will be looking else where for a truck mechanic. I even called the day before I was to pick up truck to ask that that put truck thru wash. That did't happen either. Trisha was not very respectful of your customers.

I waited in the lounge until about noon and stepped outside to stretch my legs. My truck was still parked in the lot. The service wasn’t completed until just before 1:00. Brought my vehicle for two service lights that were on. I was Told I needed coil pack spark plugs and wires. I found funny , because plugs and wires were less then 3 weeks old. Paid $500 + diagnostic test and for coil pack even though I knew that wasn’t the issue. Picked up vehicle got down the road . Issue not fixed lights back on . Took it right back, informed them it wasn’t fixed. Left vehicle again. I received a call at the end of the day saying my truck was ready. That there was nothing wrong. Pick it up the next morning get down the road something. Take it right back. I’m told it’s probably a bad-fuel injector . At this point they are just guessing and I don’t believe this is the issue due. to symptoms and codes . Speak with service manager . He asked if I could leave the vehicle and he would drive it to see what’s going on . At 5 pm receive a call to come pick it up that truck was driven didn’t get any lights or ticking sound. I found very strange. Next morning I pick up vehicle once again get down the road lights come on ticking sound is present . Take it back to show that lights were on . Scanned it again abs codes are present . Service manager was busy . After waiting 40 min . I left without leaving vehicle . I was told they would call me to see when was a good time to drop it off, and that they needed to contact manufacture to see what maybe the issue. 3 days pass I Never receive a call . I had to call . Dropped vehicle off again . They wanted me to pay another diagnoses fee I couldn’t even believe they had the nerve to even ask. Esp when I already paid for it paid for something I didn’t need. That didn’t fix my vehicle , and obviously couldn’t diagnose it correctly . They did tell me they would do it for free. My brake lights are on when I drive or park. I’ve been without out a vehicle during this time wasting gas going back and forth . Now once again they have it. Vehicle is just sitting hasn’t been looked at yet. I guess it’s at their convenience. I should have been offered a car to drive for all my trouble . So you could say I’m not very satisfied with service .

I have a truck that is 12 months old. I do not like the constant up-sell offerings I “could” have done to my truck. I can in for one thing and one thing only. I get that you earn commissions,trips, etc based on performance but times are tough.ive owned Chevy my whole life and understand the important milestones and when they need to be done. I’m not sure I’ll be back to service my vehicle there.the pay cash is cheaper (realistically how many people carry the amount of cash that these services cost? Not many I venture to say). So I have to absorb the 3% fee so my card can be run to pay my bill. The company should absorb that customers are coming to you for their services;not the other way around

We took our vehicle for a minor problem with the display screen, seemed to not work a small amount of the time. After keeping it for 17 days, which we just demanded it back at this point, it still was not repaired. I have been driving for 54 years and have never owned anything but a Chevrolet. This is a 2024 Suburban, so it’s the most expensive vehicle we have ever owned. This was simply the most unorganized service trip I have ever experienced. One hand doesn’t seem to know what the other is doing at this dealership! The staff is very courteous and friendly so that helped but enough is enough. Our mileage was 17,355, they first told us it wasn’t under warranty, another mistake, they show our mileage at 54,718 and the vehicle is only 1 year old. Someone called several days after we left to ask about our service, we told her we are concerned that they are still showing the wrong mileage after we have mentioned it several times. She assured us a manager would call, over a week later, no call! We will not go back there for service as we would not trust them at this point, so hopefully a former dealership we used will honor the warranty work. We travel to the west for the winter so hopefully they can fix this issue there. We read online that there currently is not a fix for this issue, that’s all they would have had to tell us and we would not driven over 50 miles to this dealership twice for this problem. We are very positive people but this was just too many things gone wrong to not complain. Thank you, Joe and Linda Durham

The Dealership performed perfectly! GM, on the other hand, did not. Our truck had a terminal failure of the transmission on Aug 17th, but GM only released a few tranys every week, even though there were over 1600 people waiting. This is a ridiculous policy perpetrated by GM to keep the numbers down on the whole problem, because wouldn't it look bad if they had to ship hundreds of tranys out every week to keep up with all the requests? It may seem that there is a problem with GM transmissions.

All services recommended were about twice other people charge plus the service manager tried to tell me that OEM Michelin tires at other places were not the same quality as the ones they get which is a straight out lie. Michelin makes all their tires to the same standards regardless of their customer. Price told for diagnostics were told to me and my wife at drop off would be $37.95 but lied at pick-up to be $237.

Dylan Howard is a good friend and salesman. You can never go wrong with him. He’s quick and easy to work with and gets the deals you want. charging for diagnostics is ridiculous, other places do not charge for this service. Then the lack of personal experience you have the report texted to you and no one even calls to discuss the the report with you. And when you decline the repairs the report just vanishes which is even more ridiculous. We paid for this diagnostic report we deserve to have the report. We will never come here again and will definitely tell others not to use this service dept as well.

Appointment for a scheduled maintenance on my 2024 Tahoe, to change oil, replace filters, rotate tires, and exterior wash. Work was completed in two hours. However, on picking up vehicle, there was no sound on radio, blinkers, etc. Also, the radio was tuned to the FM radio, driver seat was moved to full rear position and a canvas sheet used to protect carpet in the back had been rolled to the side. Items in the middle console were rearranged. Someone had obviously spent time inside the truck. Service department explained that no working sound was simply a coincidence and asked if we could leave the truck overnight. The amplifier was replaced and the sound started working as promised. But why did anyone spend time inside my truck for a simple oil change and tire rotation?

The service department had my car for 6 days. Called and said they couldn’t find anything wrong, that the check engine light went off and it was fine. Picked it up and the light came on within an hour. Took it to another service center and the radiator was leaking. They could not believe this was not found by Rod Hatfield. Horrible Service! I’m appalled they would put me back on the road like this.

I went in the dealership, looking for answers on how to get my credit score to an acceptable score, in order to get a decent deal and deposit on a vehicle. I already had a vehicle I was paying on, however it wasn't going to give me any credit and it had a major part that needed to be replaced. It was a $2,000 part. Oh, and I only had it for 4 months when the problem came up. I spoke with Sean, and informed him of my issue. He said ," let's just run your credit, and see what we can do ". Sean was able to give me in a 2026 Chevrolet Trax, with a reasonable monthly payment, an excellent payment plan, and best of all.. $0 down payment. This was truly a Christmas🎁,I'll never forget. Appointment was made and I asked to be put on a wait list for a loaner. When I arrived I wasn’t on the wait list. I told the service advisor I would like to be on the list and I would wait and see if they could tell me what was going on with it. I checked back in 2 hours after waiting and they told me I said I would leave the vehicle so nothing was done with it yet. I wasted 2 hours and a day off due to a misunderstanding. The lady I spoke to was rude and said they might have a vehicle for me Monday. So I asked for my vehicle back and let them know I would take it somewhere else.

Was there for car dying last week had an issue with Brian Dick being unprofessional. Came again yesterday for oil change and I see nothing from previous feedback has been applied. 2 hours for an oil change with an appointment, and when completed an older man told brian to give me my paperwork, he flat out refused and said he wasnt coming into the room we were in and the older man said yes you are, Mr Dick took off on a temper tantrum theopposite direction and paperwork was given to someone else to give to me. Ridiculous unprofessional service will not be returning for service or purchase of a new car.
